Founded in Yaoundé in 2010, Aboubaka Swideek Islamic Foundation
has grown from a small circle of 12 students to a thriving centre serving 500+ learners across Cameroon and online.

Preserving the Word of Allah
Aboubaka Swideek Islamic Foundation was born from a simple conviction: every Muslim in Cameroon deserves access to authentic, high-quality Qur'anic education in their own language — whether English or French.
Sheikh Ahmad Hassan returned from 12 years of study in Egypt and Saudi Arabia with a burning desire to share what he had learned. He started with a small group of 12 students in a single room. Today, Alhamdulillah, we serve over 500 students across six programs.
Our commitment to bilingual education — serving both Anglophone and Francophone Cameroonians — is one of our defining features. The Qur'an unites us; language should never be a barrier.

Yes. All six of our programs are available in both English and French. Our teachers are bilingual and you can choose your preferred language at enrollment. We accept children from age 5 in our Little Huffaz program. For the full Hifz Al-Qur'an program, we recommend age 7 or above. Adults of any age are welcome in all other programs. نقبل الأطفال ابتداءً من عمر 5 سنوات في برنامج حفّاظ الصغار. أما بالنسبة لبرنامج حفظ القرآن الكريم الكامل، فنوصي بأن يكون العمر 7 سنوات أو أكثر. كما نرحب بالبالغين من جميع الأعمار في جميع البرامج الأخرى.
Absolutely. Our virtual classes serve students from Cameroon, across Africa, Europe, North America, and beyond. Sessions are conducted via secure video call and scheduled around your time zone. بالتأكيد. تخدم فصولنا الافتراضية الطلاب من الكاميرون، ومن مختلف أنحاء أفريقيا، وأوروبا، وأمريكا الشمالية، وغيرها. تُعقد الجلسات عبر مكالمات فيديو آمنة ويتم جدولة المواعيد بما يتناسب مع منطقتك الزمنية.
It varies by student. On average, our full-time students complete Hifz in 2–3 years. Part-time students may take 3–5 years. We never rush — the goal is firm, accurate memorization. يختلف ذلك من طالب لآخر. في المتوسط، يُكمل طلابنا المتفرغون برنامج حفظ القرآن الكريم خلال سنتين إلى ثلاث سنوات. أما الطلاب بدوام جزئي فقد يستغرقون من ثلاث إلى خمس سنوات. نحن لا نتعجل أبدًا — فالهدف هو الحفظ المتقن والثابت.
